Grammy Award-winning singer, Burna Boy has finally reacted to the viral video of his colleague, Davido classifying him as a ‘new cat’.
GIDIBASE had earlier reported on the viral video of Davido referring to Burna Boy as a ‘new cat’ while putting him in the same lane as Rema, Asake etc.
In the recent interview, the DMW Boss claimed that Wizkid and himself were among the first successful pioneers in the entertainment sector before the emergence of the “new cats.”
Burna Boy, Rema, Asake, and Mayorkun, according to Davido, are a group of fresh artists who are succeeding greatly in the business.
This statement sparked curiosity among many people, who eagerly anticipated Burna Boy’s reaction.
It didn’t take long for Burna Boy to break his silence.
A few hours later, the ‘Common Person’ crooner shared a brand-new post on his Instagram page. Burna Boy shared pictures in the post to commemorate his triumphant performance in the London stadium.
He acknowledged his happiness at being able to fill the 80,000-seat stadium. Burna Boy stated that his London concert gave him the opportunity to fulfill a lifetime desire of his to unite people from all backgrounds.
Sharing photos from the concert, he wrote:
