Buhari in Self-isolation After Showing Signs of Covid-19 Despite Testing Negative

President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari reportedly goes into self-isolation after his persistent cough despite testing negative to COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

While Buhari is in self-isolation, the Presidential Intensive Care Unit inside Aso Villa has been activated and placed on standby, Sahara reporters reported.

Since Abba Kyari and three members of staff tested positive to the new Coronavirus, the Aso Villa has been in fear and the persistent cough of President Buhari after testing negative on Tuesday, makes it worse.

Already activities had been suspended at the Presidential Villa while all those, who came in contact with Kyari since his return into the country after a trip to Germany earlier this month, had been asked to self-isolate.

The Presidency was doing everything possible to protect Buhari and his immediate family hence the preparation of the Presidential ICU in case of an emergency, SR reports.

A source told the media house that Kyari was earlier denied the usage of the facility after Ministry of Health officials pointed out that crisis could arise should an emergency come up around Buhari.
