Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Hermes Iyele has alleged that his colleague and the winner of Season 7, Phyna made a false statement about Chichi abandoning her husband and children.
It’s no secret that the reunion show has started leading to heated exchange and clash between former housemates.
Hermes firstly expressed regret for laughing during the heated exchange between Phyna and Chichi in a video.
The well-known dancer claimed that Chichi had confided in him at one point regarding the purported photograph of her and her children, which was untrue as alleged.
Hermes claimed that she had told him that her uncle and his kids were truly in the viral photo that started the rumor in the first place.
“First of all, I want to apologize for how the entire thing is misconstrued. I had a conversation with Chichi, and she told me that man is her uncle. She went to visit, and he took that picture.
”I asked why she didn’t tell her uncle to put out a disclaimer, and she said it will put them in a difficult situation because it was already difficult for them and her family members.
”I know for a fact that no one went out there to confirm anything. I was literally laughing at the impossibility of the entire situation. I was laughing because none of it was a fact,” he said.
