An American resident in Lafayette, rural Tennessee has won a lottery jackpot worth $420.9million, with a $2m ticket.
According to Tennessee Lottery officials who announced the winning on Sunday, the lucky winner scooped the ninth biggest jackpot in Powerball history on Saturday.

The winning ticket matched all six numbers in Saturday’s drawing in Tallahassee, Fla., 17-19-21-37-44, Powerball 16, UPI reported.
The yet to be identified winner, who is yet to come forward, has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prize.
