Dj Khaled made an appearance on Power 105’s The Breakfast Club in support of his new star-studded album Major Key which dropped on Friday. One of the revelations made during the interview was that long-time We The Best artist Ace Hood is allegedly trying to leave the label and pursue something new.

“ Ace Hood is doing his own thing. That’s my brother. I support him 100 percent,” said Khaled when asked about the South Florida rapper’s whereabouts by DJ Envy.

“Everybody makes their own decisions, but at the end of the day, we got love,” added Khaled who didn’t signify a major reason why Hood would want to part ways after years on the imprint. “I can’t speak for him, I don’t know what he’s thinking,” said Khlaed, “but at the end of the day, we bless him, we love him. I been with him from the birth of Ace Hood so I’ve supported him, and I’m always going to love him. If he ever needs me I here to support 100 percent.”

The proposed split may not be as amicable as Khaled made it seem as Hood recently took to Twitter to comment on the Snapchat god’s statements, possibly calling him a liar.

“If ONLY everything u said on BF club was the truth my brother. @djkhaled #BlessU,” he posted on Twitter last night.

Something seemed amiss when Ace Hood’s new mixtape Starvation 5 only featured his logo Hood Nation and not that of We The Best. Hood is also clearly absent from Khaled’s new album Major Key.

It looks like the Ace Hood, We The Best era might be officially over.
