Following her recent attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest individual cooking session, Nigerian chef Chef Dammy was seen in a video fetching water from a well.
When it was revealed that Damilola Adeparusi, also known as Chef Dammy, had been cooking for about 120 hours, the internet was was divided as some supported her while others critised her.
Despite falling short of the record, Dammy has declared her intent to attempt a 150-hour cooking marathon.
This determination comes in the wake of Hilda Baci being recognized by Guinness World Records as the new record holder for the longest cooking session.
According to GWR’s estimation, Baci cooked for approximately 93 hours and 11 minutes. In a recent interview with journalists in Ado-Ekiti, Chef Dammy admitted that her previous 120-hour cook-a-thon was not officially registered with Guinness World Records (GWR).
However, she expressed her readiness to apply for the prestigious recognition and revealed her intention to cook for 150 hours in the upcoming challenge, scheduled for next month.
Following the interview, a video surfaced showing the young chef fetching water from a well unaccompanied by her bodyguards.
This act has attracted significant attention from Nigerians, who have taken to the comments section to voice their opinions.
