A worried Nigerian mother warns her son against thinking about dating a female friend who he posted on his Whatsapp status.
A conversation between a parent and her child about the kind of partner that is expected of him to bring home was captured on camera and has been making the rounds on social media.
The young man shared his friend’s picture along with a sweet note on his Whatsapp status in honor of her birthday.
His mother rushed in after seeing the post and left him a voicemail advising him not to consider a friendship with someone like that.
In her words, “Who be this girl wey you post like this? This one pass you o Emma, no go there. No be your mate o.”
