Nigerian Rapper Zlatan Ibile, also known as Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, has upset his fans and followers by announcing his intention to sell his verified Twitter account.
On Sunday, June 25, Zlatan, who is best known for the hit song “Lagos Anthem,” posted the unexpected information on the microblogging website.
Zlatan’s announcement surprised a lot of his fans considering he has over 1.4 million followers and a Twitter page that has been active for 12 years since it was founded in March 2011.
The rapper did not provide an explicit reason for his decision, leaving his followers to speculate whether something significant had occurred or if he was simply joking.
Zlatan’s post simply stated, “Twitter account for sale,” leaving his fans both puzzled and intrigued.
In response, some of his followers chose to humor him, asking for his account number and engaging in playful banter about the potential price.
Many wondered why the rapper would willingly part ways with a platform that had been instrumental in connecting him with his fan base and promoting his music throughout the years.
