Nollywood actress, Shirley Igwe has revealed that she does not prioritize friendships on social media. She also stated that she will not be offended if any of her friends do not publicly celebrate her.
Speaking to Sunday Scoop, she had this to say;
“Let those who derive joy from Instagram do so for themselves. I am yet to prioritise Instagram to that extent. Real life/offline one-on-one connection is by far more real to me.”
Speaking on how she would react if her friends miss out on her special days, she said, “I don’t think I have a friend who would deliberately miss out on my special day if invited. I don’t have friends like that. However, there will be concrete reasons, should a friend miss out on my special day and vice-versa.”
Igwe also maintained that she saw nothing wrong in actress going nude in a movie, though she could not do it.
The actress also acknowledged that being famous had given her a ‘voice of influence’.
