Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes is in talks with Paris Saint-Germain regarding a transfer for the Real Madrid superstar, Spanish outlet, Don Balon reports.
According to the report, Mendes is said to have begun talks with the Ligue 1 giants which are progressing quickly.
Ronaldo, who has scored just four LaLiga goals this season, is said to be unsettled at the Bernabeu and is unhappy with Real’s reluctance to offer him an improved deal.
The Portuguese international is said to be demanding better terms that would see him equal Neymar’s earnings should the Brazilian arrive in the summer.
The 32-year-old is under contract at the Bernabeu until 2021, having agreed a new deal in December 2016.
Real Madrid’s coach, Zinedine Zidane said last month that he is hopeful the Portuguese will remain at the club for the remainder of his career, despite the uncertainty surrounding his future.
“He’s the club’s history and I hope he’s here until he retires doing what he does,” Zidane said.
“I see Cristiano here forever. There’s always the same debate, if Cristiano is happy or not here.
“But everyone wants him at Real Madrid and we want that.”
