50 Cent has probably been so accustomed to cursing in his music, that he forgot – or intentionally ignored – to censor his lines on a recent West Indies island music festival.
The G-Unit head honcho was a headliner at Saturday night’s 2016 St. Kitts Music Festival, where he performed his hit song, P.I.M.P from his debut album, Get Rich Or Die Trying.
The West Indies island however, has laws that seemingly bar swearing on stage, and 50 Cent was caught in the act as he rapped, ‘No Cadillac, no perms, you can’t see/That I’m a motherfucking P-I-M-P’.
TMZ claims that his DJ was partially to blame for not having a clean version of the song, but the rapper also couldn’t be bothered to censor himself.
According to Jamaica Observer, Fif and his bodyguard, Bajar Walter were subsequently charged with obstruction and making use of indecent language, after police showed up to make the arrest.
50 Cent is now reported to be further detained in the Carribean until Monday when he’ll get his court date, but will only likely get a fine for his offence which is only regarded as a misdemeanor .
