After staging a successful EME concert, along with Wizkid, Skales, Niyola and Shaydee in December 2012, popular R&B singer, Banky W, will be throwing another ‘Lagos party’ as he hosts the world to his ‘The Grand Love’ Concert on February 15.
Banky has spent the last few years grooming his label acts Wizkid, Skales and also signing on new members Niyola, Shaydee and DJ Xclusive but he’s now returning to focus on his music career with the planned release of his fourth album ‘R&BW’.
The Grand Love” Concert according to Banky will hold at The Civic Centre on Ozumba Mbadiwe in Victoria Island, Lagos on Friday, February 15, 2013.
He will be joined by some of R&B’s biggest names, including Wande Coal, Darey, Tiwa Savage, Bez, Blackky and Faze. Other star performers, according to EME, include Lynxxx, Sound Sultan, Iyanya, Praiz, Omawumi, Waje, J Martins, May D, Chidinma and many more to be announced.
The EME all stars will also be performing and there will be special guest appearance by Don Jazzy and Yvonne Nelson as well as other special surprises.
‘This is the year of R&BW’, he says, adding that the Civic Centre concert is ‘one of many events’ that’ll mark the arrival of the long awaited album.
