When will Embassies and High Commissions stop humiliating our celebrities ?
Last week the British High Commission in Nigeria denied Davido work permit which made it impossible for him to perform at D’banj’s concert,The reason for this is not known. work permit which made it impossible for him to perform at D’banj’s concert, The reason for this is not known. Tweeting on his tweeter page some weeks ago ..
Some months back producers Samklef was deported from Heath row Airport London for false declaration of visit, but he had a valid visa.
Also I remember vividly last year when Wizkid and Skales were denied visas for already hyped performances.
My question is why are these happening?
Davido who has an American passport which automatically grants him entry into the UK was denied work permit.
Some say it is because he was slapped by a MOPOL in Abuja?
Some say it is because he beat up a cab man?
**The truth is he is innocent until he is proved guilty**
It is time the foreign ministry do their work…
But I’m asking which passport did he submit, was it his Nigerian passport or American passport? All efforts toreach Valerie (Davido’s publicist has been abortive).
Another question, all the foreign artistes that come to Nigeria, do they obtain work permit??
So many questions but no answer *SMH*
