Report just reaching AOB confirmed a fire outbreak at
the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos. today Thursday
23rd Oct 2014.

AOB further reports that the incident which occurred
and started at the second floor of the airport terminal
at Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in
Lagos causes occupants to run for their lives.
The blaze is said to have originated from the commercial
department of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria
(FAAN) due to a power surge.
However, the situation has been reportedly been brought
under control and airport activities are returning to normal.
