“I spent $2M on ‘A Better Time’” – Davido reveals, opens up on cost of album ‘Timeless’

Music star, David Adeleke widely known as Davido has opened up on how much he spent on his recent album ‘Timeless’ compared to his previous ‘A Better Time’.

The singer said this during a media tour in support of his latest album, ‘Timeless,’ in the United States.

The 30BG leader confirmed on New York’s Hot 97FM’s Ebro in the Morning Show that this money covered expenses for features, videos, and promotions for the ‘A Better Time’ album.

Davido went on to reveal that he only spent $300,000 on his latest album, ‘Timeless,’ but has already earned more than his previous album from this investment.

Speaking on how much he has spent on his previous album the ‘Away’ crooner revealed that roughly $2 million was spent.

“My last album, I will tell you, I probably spent $2 million. That is for everything. You know what I’m saying?

“I haven’t even spent $300k on this album [Timeless]. And I made more already in three days. It just shows me the level of where African music is going.”
