The True Story About My Alleged Deportation From America – Lil Kesh

Former YBNL protege, Lil Kesh, has finally addressed the speculation that he was deported sometime last year from the United States of America, USA.

Last November, the social media space was awash with reports of how Lil Kesh was barred from entering the U.S by immigration officials at the point of entry and put on the next plane back to Nigeria.

The reports further claimed that the ‘Fake Love’ singer may not be allowed into the country until after five years, when his purported ban elapses.

Addressing the rumour for the first time, Lil Kesh told Saturday Beats that the reports are false.

According to him, his silence all the while the rumour was spread was deliberate so as not to appear to be “shedding more light on the situation”.

“I was never deported from America”, Lil Kesh, who now runs his own label, YAGI Records, said. “The news is totally false and that is all I have to say. I kept quiet about the report to make a point, which is that there is no point addressing an issue that is not true. If I had spoken, it might have appeared that I was shedding more light on the situation. But it is not true that I was deported from America”.
