In another episode of domestic violence, a Congolese man has reportedly claimed the life of his wife of two years after he beat her to stupor which led to her death.
His wife, a 31-year-old died days after she was battered by her husband in Kinshasa, DR Congo, for a yet-to-be-disclosed reason.
Linda died, last week, at the Kimbondo – Hospital Center Monkole, as a result of the internal bleeding she suffered after her husband, Francis Mbuyi, a lawyer, beat her.

he Lagos State’s special Court for Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence pronounced its first sentence, Wednesday, 21st February, 2018.
The court was commissioned last month to handle cases of sexual and domestic violence in the state. The first sentence was a case of defilement and the offender was sentenced to 60 years in jail.
