Dennis Graham is always a great source of entertainment on the internet. As Drake’s dad, it’s funny to see where the rapper gets his humor, musical talent and swag from. The “Nice For What” rapper knows this too. He brought his dad through to feature in the hilarious commercial for his Virginia Black liquor and also brought him on stage during his win at the Billboard Music Awards last year. In a recent interview, Dennis Graham revealed a hilarious story about smoking weed when his son was a youngin’.
Dennis Graham is set to appear on Van Lathan’s upcoming episode of his podcast, The Red Pill. Lathan shared a snippet of the upcoming interview where Graham details what it was like to try and sneakily smoke some weed when a young Drake would go to bed at night.
“This is what made me know he was really special. I’d put him to bed, then after he went to bed, I would roll my little joint. Soon as I got high, I’m thinking Drake’s sleep, he could come out. Every night, with something weird” He said. “I’m high. He’d come out of his bedroom and ask me, ‘Dad, how many blades of grass are there in the world?…’ I said, ‘get back to bed!’”
