Superstar disc-jockey, Jimmy Jatt has said the supposed disagreement between Wizkid and Davido is healthy as long as it does not result into a physical altercation.
According to Jimmy Jatt, both artistes spend time together and visit the same nightclubs, adding that it is the “sensationalism of the internet” that often magnifies their rift.
“It’s healthy. They go to the same clubs and they party together and we don’t hear of any fight. It’s just the music and these days, the sensationalism of the internet,” he told HIP TV.
“One word, clap back and everybody is talking.”
The disc jockey further noted that the singers, by virtue of their pedigree and standing in the music industry, are “always” being talked about and pitted against each other even if they do little to initiate “conversation”.
“Sometimes they don’t even put music out there but they are always in the conversation,” he said.
“I think that’s good but sometimes it can be below the belt but let’s keep it clean. It’s like boxing, you can hit your opponent but not below the belt.”
Wizkid and Davido have of late directed subliminal shots at each other on social media, resulting in fans picking sides and consequently giving more life to their seeming inability to see eye-to-eye.
